Andy DiPuccio is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from North College Hill High School in 1980 and was awarded an academic scholarship to Miami University where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting. After college, he was accepted into the US Navy’s Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as a Naval Officer in 1986. He served for 20 years in the Navy and retired in July 2006 at the rank of Commander. He served at various sea and shore commands. He also has an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School. His most recent two commands were served as the Commanding Officer of the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Centers in Hartford, CT and Birmingham, AL. At Birmingham, he commanded one of the largest Reserve Centers in the Southeast Region, which included 19 units and 600 personnel. His commitment to customer service earned him the number 1 ranking of 31 commands on the annual customer service survey. His method for achieving this ranking was very simple. His philosophy for himself and his staff was to personally respond to every phone call and e-mail the same day. You did not go home until you responded to every person. Since retiring from the Navy, he has served as a Mortgage Consultant with both First Tennessee Bank and Flagstar Bank before joining Carol Ragar’s staff at American Mortgage Service Company.
